Duties include (but are not limited to): Provide planning and technical services support for HQ AFSPC/A5C. This support includes: requirements document development, assistance with the preparation of Study Plans and AoAs for new programs, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) development, program budget development (e.g., AF POM, APOM, etc.), and program planning development (e.g., Strategic Master Plan, Mission Area Plans, etc.) for Space Based Space Surveillance. Support across HQ AFSPC organizations and interface other DoD, Joint and civilian agencies as appropriate. Support appropriate, planning and development forums for developing technical analysis in support of HQ AFSPC. Assist AFSPC/A5C with staff functions to include reviewing documents, writing point papers, and preparing briefings.

Participate in Air Force and AFSPC JCIDS analyses to ensure capabilities, needs and solutions are comprehensively included in all relevant Air Force and AFSPC Mission Area Plans (MAPs) and Mission Support Plans (MSPs). The process shall include providing planning, engineering and technical support for AFSPC Functional Area Analysis (FAA), Functional Needs Analysis (FNA), and Functional Solution Analysis (FSA) methodologies.

Draft requirements documents (ICD, CDD, CPD) for AFSPC/A5C.

Coordinate requirements documents (ICD, CDD, CPD) through AFSPC, Air Force, and joint communities for AFSPC/A5C.

Assist AFSPC/A5C prepare requirements document (ICD, CDD, CPD) briefings for requirements strategy reviews (RSRs) and AFROCC and JROC staffing for AFSPC/A5C.

Assist AFSPC/A5C in the development of training requirements for incorporation in relevant operational requirements documents (ICD, CDD, CPD) and training concepts for incorporation in relevant CONOPS.

Assist AFSPC/A5C prepare funding documentation on program resource needs and develop recommendations for acquisition strategy; provide data to develop funding requirements and assist with preparing justification to keep program on schedule for AFSPC/A5C.

Assist AFSPC/A5C evaluate SSA concepts and technologies and provide assessments.

Assist AFSPC/A5C generate briefings and analyses to support program meetings as required by the A5CS Branch Chief.

Assist AFSPC/A5C prepare and review program technical specifications.

* Recent experience with JCIDS requirements development and staffing * Recent experience in a MAJCOM, Air Staff, or Joint Staff position * Experience in MAJCOM, Air Staff, and Joint Staff document staffing processes * Experience in Space Surveillance * Excellent writing and speaking skills * Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Power Point, Excel, Project, and Outlook * Working knowledge of: o Acquisition and Risk Mitigation Support o Training Support o Security Analysis and Implementation Support o Testing, Evaluation, and Exercise/War-gaming Support o Logistics Support o Site Activation Support o Analysis of alternatives
