Leads new business development efforts at the business unit/business group level. Works for the Director of Business Development and represents the business unit to other Serco organizations and to potential customers, teammates and vendors. Works directly with the Serco marketing and sales organization (account executives, capture and proposal teams) in determining opportunities of interest to the business unit, providing past performance citations for requests for information and proposal efforts. Participates in proposal preparation and reviews. Responsible for the coordination and facilitation of business unit resources in the pursuit of new business opportunities. Makes bid/no-bid decisions for the business unit. Manages Bid & Proposal account budgets. Identifies new areas for strategic growth.
A BA in engineering and ten to twelve years related experience. A combination of relative job experience and education well be given consideration in lieu of degree requirement.
