Serco North America has an immediate opening for a Systems/Network Administrator I for our Colorado Springs location. The Systems/Network Administrator I will be responsible for the following:

• Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems
  
• Serves as a front line interface to users with technical issues
  
• Makes recommendations for hardware and software purchases
  
• Interacts with third party technology vendors and internal database staff
  
• Conducts systems analysis and development to keep systems current with changing technology
  
• Installing new software, troubleshooting, granting permissions to applications and training users
  
• Designs, installs, maintains and coordinates the use of the network system
  
• Evaluates hardware, software, and peripheral equipment
  
• Manages network performance to maintain high quality transmission service on the network
  
• Maintains and creates/deletes user accounts
  
• Maintains and updates system security plans on all platforms
  
• Implements and coordinates network policies, procedures, and standards
  
• Enforces security procedures
  
• Supervises and schedules the network technician staff, and trains users
  
• Additional duties as required or assigned
