We are seeking high-energy female and male candidates for an Account Manager in Training (AMIT) role within our Food and Beverage Division, the leader in critical sanitation solutions for food, beverage and dairy processing/manufacturing plant environments.
As an AMIT, you’ll work with experienced Ecolab associates to learn our business and prepare you to manage your own territory as an Account Manager in 6-12 months (relocation may be necessary). You’ll maintain a dual focus on sales and service of Ecolab’s innovative sanitation products and equipment. We provide solutions to our customers to make them cleaner, safer and healthier impacting food supply, quality and safety. Main Responsibilities:
Partner with customers to understand plant operations/objectives and provide solutions to comply with government regulations and advance plant efficiency and effectiveness
Introduce new product/service offerings to disinfect surfaces in a plant facility to existing customers and grow business by obtaining new accounts
Cultivate business relationships with all levels of plant staff through professional demeanor and interpersonal skills
Provide industry expertise and training to customers regarding plant sanitation, standard operating procedures and issues of food safety/quality
Apply mechanical aptitude to repair, adjust, test and install Ecolab chemical dispensing systems and food, beverage and dairy processing equipment including clean in place (CIP) equipment and systems
Monitor product performance and adjust chemical concentration levels
Maintain flexibility to accommodate customers as needed; weeknights/weekends/holidays

Market: Denver, CO Income package: Base salary plus company vehicle provided Basic Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in dairy, food or agricultural science, engineering, chemistry, biology or related science
Schedule varies and will include working 1-2 nights per week
Must be willing to be on call and work weekends as needed
Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (2 years)

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in food, beverage or dairy processing/manufacturing industries preferred
Sales and/or customer service experience preferred
