The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are adding an EcoDistrict Program Manager to our growing EcoDistrict division in Seattle, WA. This role will support EcoDistrict projects with project planning, development, and management duties. Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include:

  • Develops project work plans
  • Defines project scope and intent.
  • Manage a team of Engineers to ensure the successful achievement of business goals.
  • Assesses, manages and communicates project risks.
  • Develops final reports reiterating projects' values.
  • Coordinates resources to ensure proper staffing on projects.
  • Manages plans, set ups budgets and schedules.
  • May develop, establish and manage critical environment standards.
  • Recommends enhancements of client plans to Development staff.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

  • Must have demonstrated proficiency for all the responsibilities of a Senior Building Energy Engineer.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
  • Maintains subject matter expertise in PV, Energy Storage, Resiliency and pertinent building and energy codes including National Electric Code, International Fire Code, and the International Building Code.
  • Five (5) years of commercial & industrial or utility scale solar project development, PV design and/or operations experience required.
  • Three (3) years of energy performance contracting & consulting experience preferred; education may substitute for experience.
  • NABCEP, OSHA, CEM, PE, LEED, CPM professional designations preferred.

The pay range for this position is $92,520 - $152,200 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
