The Futures Concepts Center (FCC) Simulation Operations (SimOps) Program Manager/Subject Matter Expert (PM/SME) will provide technical support to the BLCSE team operations.
Will be the focal point for government leadership interaction and support for the planning, integration, and execution of distributed, multi-site, Simulation and Mission Command System-supported Military and Joint Experiments conducted to examine and analyze Future Service Concepts, Capabilities, and Force Structures in the context of Military formations from Brigade to Division-level, operating in a Service, Joint, Inter-agency, and Multinational force environment.
The PM/SME will provide technical expertise to assist the government team in establishing, integrating and enforcing configuration control of all Models, Simulations, and Tools (MS&T) used in distributed experiments to ensure standardization and commonality of MS&T versions used across the Experimentation Community of Practice.
As required, the SME will support the planning, conduct of, and support to BLCSE federation integration activities and assessment, evaluation, and integration of new Modeling and Simulation tools and/or technologies.
The PM/SME is accountable for staffing, meeting financial requirements, contractual reporting requirements, approval of time sheets and expense reports, contract ODC purchases, and other administrative duties as assigned.
Serves as the principal point of contact for client technical services and contracts representative on the specific TO.
Performs program integration and project management activities, including staffing, project planning, performance tracking, quality assurance and business management.
Twenty (20) years military experience, Army or Marine Corps preferred.
Bachelors from an accredited university.
The contractor shall provide a project manager that meets labor category criteria as a Certified Project Manager Professional.
The government will accept DAU Level III certification in Program Management in lieu of PMP certification.
