Genie Industries/Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP), a business segment of the Terex Corporation, is headquartered in Bothell, WA with branch offices worldwide; we manufacture material lifts, aerial work platforms, trailer-mounted booms and light towers, telehandlers, scissor lifts and self-propelled telescopic and articulating booms. Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading a focused team of Quality Technicians within the Quality Assurance department.
  • Coordinates and Monitors Red Tag process and supports the value streams.
  • Facilitates in house rework opportunities with the suppliers
  • Supervise non-conforming materials storage and scrap
  • Leads supplier site assessments and process audits
  • Promotes technical training activities for both suppliers and internal team
  • Oversees and supports Supplier Corrective Actions
  • Prepares and updates CPA audit plan
  • Interact with customers and handle feedback escalations appropriately.
  • Develops team members with consideration of their talents and career opportunities.
  • Responsible for direct report reviews and feedback

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum 1-3 years hands-on experience in fabrication/ wet paint/ powder coating/ assembly processes
  • Ability to apply lean manufacturing techniques
  • Good attendance is key to success
  • Ensures adherence to Genie policies
  • ASQ certifications (Auditor, Technician, Inspector, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge in the usage of measuring devices and programs (Polyworks, CMM, calipers, height gages, bore gages, etc.)
  • Understanding how to read design drawings.
  • Understanding of GD&T as it applies to manufacturing
  • Requires sufficient human relations skill to convey technical information to and maintain harmony with team members.

Physical Requirements

  • Requires ambulatory ability to walk, stand, reach, stoop, bend, kneel, and crawl on a continuous basis; up to 10 hours a day.
  • Requires the ability to lift, pull, push, and guide medium weigh objects (20-40 pounds) on a continuous basis.
  • Requires sufficient hand-arm-eye coordination to guide objects into specific placement or alignment and make precise measurements.
  • Requires visual acuity to observe moving objects and events, select, and place materials. Requires auditory ability to project voice in a production environment and hear instructions.

Salary:

The salary range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 salary. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
