We are looking for a Billing Group Leader to join our Revenue Cycle Management team as we grow to be one of the top home infusion providers in the country. The Billing Group Leader will report to the Billing Manager and work in our Centennial, CO office.

The home infusion market is positioned for rapid growth driven by the aging population, increase in chronic diseases, robust pipeline of infusible drugs coming to market, and an industry shift from hospital delivery settings to lower-cost, high-quality alternative providers such as Amerita.

As a core member of the Billing team, you will be expected to perform all activities related to the billing of Accounts Receivable, including Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance and patient balances. Responsibilities

As a Billing Group Leader, you will...

    Ensure that daily accomplishments work towards company goals for cash collections.
  • Ensure that the Billing department complies with state and federal regulations and company policies for billing and collection practices.
  • Bill delivery tickets, secondary claims and patient statements in a timely manner, making necessary demographic changes to patient accounts to ensure future collections.
  • Conduct billing utilizing most efficient resources, giving priority to electronic solutions.
  • Identify patterns of non-compliance by branch staff in completing patient registration, supporting billing documentation and delivery tickets.
  • Review delivery tickets for accuracy and completes claims per payer-specific guidelines.
  • Identify inefficient process and makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor payer websites for updates and communicates accordingly.
  • Identify patterns of short-payment, overpayment or non-payment and brings them to the attention of the appropriate specialist.
  • Assist in the training new Billing Specialists, implementing the training program and testing for training materials.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance a plus
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in medical billing (1 year of experience at Amerita is acceptable)
  • Working knowledge of Managed Care, Commercial Insurance, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and Cash Applications
  • Home infusion industry experience a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to independently obtain and interpret information
  • Knowledge of CPR+ software a plus

Salary Range
USD $22.00 - $24.00 / Hour
