Interstates is currently seeking a full-time Material Coordinator to join our Fort Collins, CO manufacturing team. This role will provide direct support to our Manufacturing team, by managing all tasks related to material ordering, flow, and inventory. An ideal candidate will be results driven, organized, and work well with the team. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for incoming and outgoing material and product coordination.
  • Work with vendors to purchase and track material delivery deadlines and ensure the team is kept up to date.
  • Coordinate and manage vendor returns as necessary.
  • Document quality of delivery issues to vendors, including bad packaging, mixed orders, mislabeling, damaged or missing items.
  • Maintaining project bill of materials and communicating with Assistant Project Manager.
  • Work with Material handler to pull materials for job starts.
  • Responsible for shop material inventories.
  • Coordinate logistic information for the team.
  • Ability to work independently on projects - prioritize tasks, communicate status, etc.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

High School diploma or GED. Must be able to work with machinery such as a forklift.

Travel: Travel will be minimal for this position (1-2 day trips per month).

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, this role may be exposed to high/precarious places, risk of electrical shock, and all outside weather conditions. Depending on the role, one may be expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Due to the nature of our work and our client base, the role may involve tasks in an environment exposed to dust. Candidates should be comfortable working in these conditions and complying with safety standards to protect their well-being.
