This position is responsible for creating work orders / purchase order requisitions to support our customer sales orders. In this role, the Planner is responsible to ensure information is correct and communicated with all departments. Some of the other responsibilities are, planning parameters are correct, delivery schedules are communicated, and work order variances are accounted for. This position will also have the responsibility to communicate to the manufacturing floor priorities and schedules.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Team oriented work ethic and ability to work well with operators, engineers and management
  • Work in a safe and responsible manner
  • Work across multiple disciplines and stakeholder groups to ensure timely delivery of all Sundyneorders.
  • Plan key parts milestones and drive requisitions accordingly
  • Create and release requisitions for all purchase and make parts
  • Forecast and resolve part shortages and resource bottlenecks while maintaining schedule
  • Coordinate with purchasing on material and expedite requirements
  • Become familiar with and develop a working knowledge of internal processes, customerspecifications, and best practices
  • Plan, process, track, status, report and expedite all job routings and Bill of Materials throughout theSundyne manufacturing process.
  • Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities
  • Detailed status and reporting of projects throughout manufacturing, Assembly and Test
  • Process Engineering Change Notices
  • Comply with all Sundyne, ISO and OSHA regulations
  • Develops, implements and trains other planners on continuous improvements projects
  • This position will also have the responsibility to communicate to the manufacturing floor, prioritiesand schedules.
  • Enters NCMs and follows up with appropriate personnel for disposition and closure

Skills & AbilitiesRequired

  • Skills include creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and the abilities to organize and multitask
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

PreferredQualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in a planner role
  • Planning experience in a manufacturing or construction setting
  • MS Suite experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with JDE (or other MRP System) and Query (strategy program) preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude

Compensation Details

Annual Salary: $80,000.00 - $116,000.00

Additional Compensation

Salary Range for this position: $80-90k (the salary offered will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and will be compared with internal equity along with market data for this position).
