Overview

Interstates is growing and we are currently look for an onsite IT Helpdesk Specialist II to join our support team in Ft Collins, CO. We are seeking an individual that has at least three to five years of related experience and/ or training; equivalent combination of education and experience. The IT Helpdesk Specialist II will support the internal customers and computer systems of the Interstates companies for the purpose of supporting our external customers. This includes hardware, software, data, communications, and associated responsibilities.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provides general computer support including:
    • Various helpdesk responsibilities including triage of tickets, escalation, and problem resolution.
    • Acting as primary point of contact in assigned location for end user support and customer support relations.
    • Providing outstanding customer service, proactive communication. Highly approachable and responsible to our customers.
    • Answering software and hardware support calls for office and remote users.
    • Installing software packages and updates on company endpoints.
    • Installing and configuring peripheral hardware for employees.
    • Setting up and installing computers and tablets for new and existing employees.
    • Calling vendors and ordering hardware for support as needed.
    • Providing limited training and instruction.
    • Testing and analysis of computer systems and programs.
    • Proficient knowledge in Active Directory, Office 365 administrator portals, and Software/Systems support.
  • Assists in network computer support including:
    • Working with the network and system administrators to maintain servers and network equipment.
    • Working with the Cyber Security team to protect the network from risks and security issues.

This position may have access to Protected Health Information. In accord with HIPAA Privacy Rule, the person filling this position has been trained on the Harbor Group HIPAA Privacy Policy and agrees to abide by the stipulations set forth in that policy.

Additional Information: The pay range for this position is $56,500-$76,500 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The pay is determined by job related skills, training, education, and experience.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree (A.A., A.S.) from a two-year college or technical school with an emphasis in Computer Studies; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Less than 25% overnight travel expected.
