Responsibilities

We are hiring a BMC Remedy Developer and Patch Manager to serve as a subject matter expert related to implementation and management of the Remedy IT Service Management System, True Sight Server Automation and BMC Client Management. This position is responsible for the planning, designing, implementation and documenting the instructions for implementing Remedy into an enterprise environment, which includes testing and documenting production support guidelines and procedures for the service center transition period and during operations post transition. This position also is responsible for the planning, designing, implementation, executing and documenting the instructions for patch management

What you'll do:

Responsible for the integration of BMC Remedy ITSM 20.02 or above into daily functions, including: commitment to integrity, knowledge / quality of work, supporting financial goals of the company, initiative / motivation, cooperation / relationships, problem analysis / discretion, accomplishing goals through organization, positive oral / written communication skills, / accountability of actions taken.


* Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, coding of modifications or new program, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications, infrastructure, and information systems including database management systems.
* Utilizes Remedy expertise to determine and analyze needs and requirements. Based on determinations, makes recommendations to Enterprise ITSM management, and helps to develop / execute project plans.
* Provide directions, develops and enhances Remedy ITSM and Patch Management workflows.
* Assists in the development of system documentation on revised systems changes along with knowledge sharing across the program.
* Demonstrate and train team on performing ITSM Remedy installation, testing and production support activities.
* Demonstrate and train team on performing Patch Management execution, automation of patch management, and production patch support activities.
* Monitors and troubleshoots scheduled tasks and event logs for system, application, & security errors.
* Recommends and plan strategies for upgrades and resource management.
* Design and guide the development of workflows that support business and industry best practices in Remedy IT service management.

Works within the Information Technology function, obtaining resources and working in support of objectives and strategies. Provides required documentation and participates in architecture reviews to ensure that the solutions comply with standards and use approved technologies.

Qualifications

What you'll need:

    Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD, in lieu of degree, 12 years of applicable experience will be acceptable.
  • DoD Secret Clearance
  • BMC Remedy experience, development & admininstration
  • Enterprise ITSM management experience
  • True Sight Server Automation experience

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
