We have an opening in our Monmouth Junction, NJ facility for a Lead, Corporate Communications. The Lead, Corporate Communications is responsible for overseeing Tris' external and internal company communications programs and initiatives.


The incumbent monitors and works closely with the Company's Public Relations (PR) firm to assure execution of communications plan and assists Human Resources (HR) team and internal colleagues with communications needs while actively cultivating the company's "Culture of Care" and aligning with the company's mission of providing a diverse, inclusive and safe work environment for all employees. She/he develops ideas and content for external and internal communication programs utilizing multiple social media channels and internal communication events/platforms to support and reinforce organizational strategies and objectives to guide development, execution and measurement of company's communication strategy and branding, employee communication and media outreach.


The incumbent actively participates and supports company strategic and operational communications initiatives in accordance with all applicable Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Office of Prescription Drug Promotion (OPDP) and Department of Labor (DOL) regulations and other corporate and legal requirements.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


* Supports and, when appropriate, leads/monitors external communication activities with Company's PR firm as well as employer branding efforts by creating and administering content on all social media platforms to grow an audience and build company awareness; Designs and drives high-quality social media content and campaigns to consistently align with established strategies and branding; Consults with senior members of Advertising and Promotion team on FDA OPDP and DOL regulations and guidelines to support and follow organizational standards and branding


* Leads communication efforts for, and actively participates in, all company employee resource groups and company events and planning; Collaborates closely with HR, cross-functional, internal partners (senior leadership, group leaders, etc.) to create, coordinate, schedule and/or distribute organizational announcements, press releases and company internal and external announcements, townhall and related meetings, new hire orientation, etc.


* Creates and curates engaging content for social media platforms and create visually appealing graphics, photos and images for social media posts


* Defines and analyzes success metrics and synthesizes insights into future actionable tactics; Leverages new and existing platform-specific features, trends and ideas to find innovative ways to grow reach, build awareness and conversations and engage employees, potential candidates and company followers, among others; Builds and executes social media strategy through competitor intelligence, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification


* Moderates and maintains company Intranet platform accessing, organizing and updating site, as needed; Liaises with appropriate departments to design and update SharePoint sites and portal pages with text, graphics and layouts


* Collaborates with external vendors on updates and modifications to company web site, career page and social media and PR campaigns, as needed

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS


* Bachelors degree and minimum 5 years PR, Communications, Social Media and/or related experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry


* Strong, hands on experience working with business-focused social media platforms (i.e., LinkedIn, Glass Door, etc.) and collaborating with, supervising or leading public relations agencies and other external vendors/partners


* Experience creating social content


* Intranet administration experience


* Hands on experience driving successful delivery of multiple digital products and platforms (i.e., web, email, digitally enabled personal promotion, etc.) including experience with establishing analytics and measurements for success


* Hands on, working knowledge and understanding of industry best practices for internal communications execution and operations FDA OPDP and DOL regulations and guidelines to support and follow organizational standards and branding


* Excellent proofreading ability


* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Power Point
