Job Description:

An exciting opportunity to work with Microchip Product and Test Engineers bringing new Non-Volatile Memory products to market. As a product technician you'll work with and learn from the best what it takes to bring a product from concept to production. You'll be trained to support the Engineering teams with new product validation as well as supporting the existing product line as needed. Good growth opportunity for someone who wants to learn more about the Engineering fields while working in the industry with potential to advance into an Engineering role in the future with the right combination of education and experience.

Anticipated Job Responsibilities
  • Performing new silicon validation using micromanipulator, Magnum and Maverick testers, Oscilloscopes, and other lab equipment as needed
  • Testing of product for device characterization and qualification
  • Coordinating with production test floor for wafer probe on new products
  • Summarizing and presenting data to the Engineering team for review
  • Supporting new part number creation requests in the PDC system
  • Supporting build requests for samples and qualifications
  • Coordinating with lab manager for equipment calibration needs
  • Monitoring and ordering lab supplies as needed

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Engineering or technology with 1-3 years of experience preferred.
  • High School Graduate or GED with no degree may be considered with extensive hands on experience.
  • Experienced with basic lab equipment like oscilloscopes, power supplies, testers, etc.
  • Ability to work on small objects through a microscope.
  • Ability to work individually, with local team members, and with off-site and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient with Microsoft tools like Word, Power Point, and Excel to clearly present data.
  • Fundamental understanding of non-volatile memory operation is a bonus but not required.

The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in Colorado, is $19 - $32.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
