About this role

As a Home Study evaluator, you will work with prospective foster, adoptive, kinship and ICPC families to complete home studies. You will meet with the families in their homes to assess their readiness and ability to care for the child(ren). Your report provides the court with comprehensive data and recommendations on the best interest placement of the child(ren). This position will provide a flexible schedule that fits your and the client needs.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a preference for Social Work, Psychology, Sociology
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Completed 2-day SAFE Home Study Training and is in possession of SAFE certificate
  • Knowledge of Volume 7 Regulations related to completion of home studies for foster, foster to adopt, kinship and ICPC homes. This training is provided if needed.
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft applications, computer, and office equipment.
