Sales Engineering position responsible for presenting Juniper capabilities as well as architecting and implementing advanced network solutions for our customers and partners.

Responsibilities:

The Sale Engineering role involves working on technical attributes with respect to Juniper's Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy focused on the SLED vertical. This includes defining consistent and efficient strategies focused on use cases that drive key business outcomes within this space. The successful candidate will have a heavy technical knowledge that extends across all aspects of higher education, K-12, and state government municipalities to develop and deploy advanced network solutions using Juniper products/solutions. Management of projects, proof of concept demonstrations, and presenting solutions are critical to success in this role in the sales organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Network Engineering, preferably in a Pre-Sales organization tied to SLED communities.
  • Campus network design (wired, wireless, WAN, and security)
  • Data center network design (EVPN/VXLAN, IP fabrics)
  • Network Security design (NGFW, UTM, DDoS, IPSec, MACSec, SIEM)

Note: If they do not possess these, they will not be considered as meeting the basic requirements of the position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Network virtualization, including containerization
  • Network automation, including Python, Ansible, YANG, JSON, Netconf
  • Juniper or Cisco certifications: JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE or CCIE highly desirable

Other Information:

  • Relocation is NOT available for this position
  • Travel requirements for the position 20%-30%

Minimum Salary: $155,584.00

Maximum Salary:$223,652.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $155,584.00 and $223,652.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
