The Education Intern will help facilitate the Geriatric Career Development Program, including working collaboratively with the Human Resources and Education Department and local high school participants. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Create lesson plans

* Teach lessons

* Lead activities

* Schedule outings and presentations

* Keep open lines of communication with the participating high school officials and parents

* Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred

* Pursing Bachelor's or related degree in Education preferred

* Must be 18 years of age or older

Additional Job Details

* Hours per week - 20-25

* Hours vary based on the MPS school year
