Job Description
Qualifications
  • Significantexperience with digital transformation efforts around CPM (corporateperformance management) processes - e.g. budgeting, strategic planning, HRplanning, sales performance management, revenue optimization, supply chain planning,S&OP etc.,

  • Trackrecord of applying both functional and digital knowledge to shape or influencevisions and roadmaps for CPM transformation

  • 5+years of delivery leadership experience - managing teams and overseeingtransformation delivery (e.g. as a project manager or product owner)

  • Knowledgeof digitization potential in CPM is a must - hands-on technical expertise ontypical CPM-related tools (Hyperion, PBCS, Anaplan, Onestream, AdaptiveInsights, TM1, SAC, Tableau, Qlik, Power BI etc) is a plus

  • Excellentcommunication skills - proven record of articulating clear and enticing visionsto influence stakeholders and engage delivery teams

  • Proventrack record as an effective people manager, particularly around investing inthe growth of teams and individuals

  • Managementconsulting experience is a plus - alternatively working side by side withmanagement consultants as e.g. a function head, program lead, product owner

  • Relentlesslyfocused on personal growth, seeking new experiences, new knowledge, new challenges,enjoying the unknown etc

You'll work in one of our North American offices and will bepart of McKinsey Digital and Analytics (DnA). DnA brings the best of McKinsey's capabilities to help ourclients use digital technology to transform their businesses. Within DnA, youwill join a global team (chapter) focused on Corporate Performance Management(CPM) digitization across a wide range of business planning and performancemanagement processes and industries. Together with a diverse range of deepexperts across CPM, broader DnA, practices (industry experts) and service lines(process/functional experts), you will dramatically transform how clientsmanage their business performance while accelerate your own personal growth.

What You'll Do

You will be part ofthe leadership team of McKinsey's Corporate Performance Management (CPM)practice, driving delivery of impact on client engagements and support thegrowth and expansion of the practice

Working in collaboration with colleagues across thefirm, you will understand our clients' CPM business opportunities anddefine visions and strategies to realize them. You will be expected toshape innovative and ambitious thinking, coupled with the pragmatic experienceand knowledge on how to implement and realize the potential. The CPM teamsupports clients with three typical engagement models:

CPM Advisory: Current state analysis and future state envisioning for our clients' CPM roadmaps, including both digital and organizational capability building. You will be a subject matter expert providing knowledge, creativity and an empathetic client understanding to guide them through a CPM transformation.

Increase impact of traditional McKinsey studies:Business modelling and planning has been a core component of McKinsey's nearly 100 years of client service ("scientific management"). Digital enablement increases the scale, speed and sustainability of the impact we have with clients. You will typically oversee a digital team of analysts and developers in deploying template accelerators, leading the design conversations to tailor them to unique clients

Rapid digitization:To gain momentum, crystalize a vision and cut through real and perceived constraints, we develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) as well as minimum viable products (MVP) to help clients take their first and toughest step towards realizing a CPM transformation. You will oversee the conceptualization, design, development and deployment, both as a deep expert and delivery leader.

Beyond direct client service (2/3rdof yourtime), you will actively contribute to our library of knowledge and best practices, Innovate: Propose and define new ways we can increase our client impact, Reach out an evangelize the possibilities of digitizing CPM, both within the firm and externally and invest in your own growth (training, research etc).
