Job/Internship Description

Summer College Intern 2019-ODA Training in GAC Savannah


Unique Skills:

This is for a Summer Intern Position. The selected student(s) for this position must be available to work at least 40 hours per week May through August.

Expected timeline for our internship selection period:

* This position will be posted until 3/25/19
* Resumes will be reviewed by the end of March


*Intern will be part of a tight-knit and dedicated training team with the opportunity to make substantive contributions to the work of the program. The selected student must be available to work a 12 week internship.
*Must be fluent in Mandarin. Knowledge of Chinese business culture preferred.
*Research experience of East Asia business practices preferred but not required


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Under supervision, performs a variety of tasks including creating supplemental training videos, interactive activities and presentations.

  1. Opportunity to assist with background research, data gathering from primary and secondary sources, data cleaning and manipulation of training plans, presentations, and activities.
  2. Under supervision, performs a variety of tasks including providing and coordinating professional translations for training videos, interactive activities and presentation material.
  3. Researching and analyzing various topics from diverse sources; for the use of marketing and promoting training products and services to internal customers.
  4. Provide assistance on various training related projects, from contributing ideas during an initial phase to putting those ideas into action, and following-up action plans.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  1. Must currently be pursuing a undergraduate or graduate degree in business, communications, information technology or closely related field. Must graduate on or after August 2019.
  2. Must have excellent organizational and planning skills.
  3. Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  4. Clearly and tactfully communicate with others and work as a team player.
  5. Possess excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Adobe Creative Suite or SharePoint a plus.
  6. GPA Requirement: 3.0 or higher required.
