This intern will be responsible for developing applications which analyze the maliciousness of emails at a large scale. As attackers find new ways to target the end-user, we need to keep augmenting our detection to catch new variants. This intern will help improve our email detection engine by using additional context to identify and stop evil.

Responsibilities

• Use machine learning to detect and classify malicious/phishing emails

• Provide context behind the alerts generated by FireEye's email platform

• Must be pursuing a graduate degree and attending an accredited institution in the fall

• Knowledge of Information Security and Machine Learning

• Ability to recognize patterns in random-looking data sets

• Basic knowledge of email security
